Pumpkin picking in the UK

Pumpkin patches open from late September and are busiest in the weekends before Halloween. Many popular patches sell timed tickets, so book ahead for October weekends and half term.

Wear boots, bring a wheelbarrow-sized appetite for carrying, and check what is included: some farms add maze entry, tractor rides or carving stations.
